Really?

Apparently, blogger no longer supports IExplorer. I'm running version 9. This is why I haven't posted a trip summary yet. Blogger tells me I have to use chrome.

So, what blog host does everyone recommend? Because, I'll be moving from blogger as soon as I find one.

Well, WordPress looks cleaner, but is harder to use. Sigh.
I was on IE9 and switched to FireFox which helped.
But, ultimately, I went to WP, anyway.

I picked wordpress simply because it was always easier to leave comments than on blogger, and since I want people to chatter that was the deciding factor.

BTW I toggle between firefox and Chrome, I like them both a shitton better than any IE offerings.

Blogger has been acting weird the last few weeks. A couple of weeks ago, the Preview function stopped working. NFO, at the NRA convention, confirmed he was having the same problem. After the NRA meet, Preview started working once again.

Now, I have discovered the "Scheduling" function has failed---twice. I can post a page immediately, but I can't schedule the post for tomorrow or some future date.

Arrrgh!!!!

I'd go with WordPress running on your own hosting plan. The code is free, and as long as your ISP gives you PHP and MySQL on the hosting plan you choose - you can run WordPress on your own and have TOTAL control over the site. Its not that hard to set it up, either.

I'm considering that move myself... Not without trepidation...

I've been using Firefox exclusively for several years. Recently, I downloaded some add-ons: Adblocker Plus, and Do Not Track Plus, which together have all-but eliminated pop-ups, pop-under, and many of the embedded ads in websites that I view.

I haven't used Blogger in ages. I've become a real believer in a Wordpress installation on my own domain name. I also don't use IE. Firefox, all the way, baby!
